Engineered client-side PDF and PPTX parsers using pdfjs-dist and JSZip, supporting files up to 50MB. Built a split-pane converter UI with live word count, byte reduction, and page count stats. Reduced slide payloads by ~70%, compressing 30+ decks from MBs to KBs to fit LLM free-tier context limits.
